Daniel
Art was never part of the plan.
Daniel’s creative journey began unexpectedly in 2021, while travelling through South and Central America. Until then, drawing had never held a significant place in his life. But somewhere along the journey, a pencil became a way of exploring what could not easily be expressed in words.
What began as an unexpected impulse gradually developed into a personal artistic language — one shaped by introspection, symbolism, instinct and the exploration of the inner self.
In 2023, Daniel began working with oil painting, expanding his practice beyond drawing and opening new possibilities for colour, texture and expression.
For Daniel, creating art is not simply about making something visually beautiful. It is a process of looking inward — confronting shadows, questioning familiar patterns and bringing hidden thoughts, emotions and symbols into the light.
His work often moves between the human and the symbolic: animals as expressions of instinct and inner power, faces and masks as reflections of identity, and recurring eyes, hands and organic forms as gateways into consciousness and transformation.
Each piece begins as an exploration rather than an answer.
Through ArtkAntikA, Daniel invites the viewer to do the same: to pause, look beyond the immediately visible and discover what the image awakens within them.
